Objectives of this Role
- This position leads the local team based in Europe and oversees daily operations. As a team leader, the ideal candidate is expected to coordinate with other teams, freelancers and customers to coordinate the overall details of Nearthlab’s European projects and maximize operational efficiency.
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance. Candidate should provide purpose, direction, and motivation to the regional operation managers, pilot teams and other subcontractors.
- Lead projects from defining the project requirements to project completion. The candidate should coordinate multiple simultaneous project schedules, resources and executions. The candidate should also oversee the overall budget allocation, cost balancing and maximization of project profitability.
- Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
- Participate in and assist business development activities (customer site visits, trade shows, conferences etc.)
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency. From time to time, directly manage ongoing projects in order to identify further room for improvement from an operational streamlining perspective.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans. Liaise with customers on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction with project deliverables and resolve any operational issues that may arise.
- Attend regular meetings with HQ(Korea) which typically occur in early morning hours.
Skills and Qualifications
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Periodically(quarterly) gather and analyze data to derive key takeaways from all projects conducted during the subject period. Transform said takeaways into actionable insights and action items for implementation.
- Engage in business trips (conferences, exhibitions, internal workshops, customer/site visits) as required.
- Must be legally authorised to work in Germany (e.g., valid work permit or EU work rights).
Preferred and Qualifications
- Previous success in project management for drone, SaaS or O&M services
- Experience in project management software e.g. MS project
- Experience developing in-house platforms for internal processes
- Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets.
